CRISTOBAL BALECIAGA: MODERN INVENTIONS OF A REFINED FASHION DESIGNER

In 1968 the Spanish fashion designer Cristobal Balenciaga retired, after making an era in the world of fashion, and creating the contemporary style.
The Balenciaga brand is synonymous with elegance and refinement, but the story that makes more fascinating his dresses and accessories began in 1895 in a Spanish village.
In the art world were the years of post-Impressionism.

The young Cristobal learnt from his mother, who was a seamstress, how to create a dress to make beautiful any woman, by starting creating dresses which wrapped the body like elegant and soft geometry.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 

My last post of the year is simply my wish to you all.
My 2016 was exciting because I managed to make some of my wishes come true, and I met some wonderful people, who will help me to carry out this large project I have in mind for this blog.
Among these people, of course, there are you, my dear readers.

I wish you a Happy New Year, and I hope that 2017 will live up to your expectations.

CHRISTMAS MOVIES: 5 MOVIES + 1 WHICH ARE VERY EVOCATIVE OF CHRISTMAS 

Christmas movies. Christmas has just passed, we wished each other Merry Christmas, we ate (a lot!), and now we’re waiting for New Year’s Eve.
These are my favourite days of the year, and I usually sleep more, and all I want to do is stay at home relaxing and watching old and new movies.
I usually watch movies recently released which I haven’t seen yet; but there are some films (always the same!) that in my opinion give a strong sense of Christmas.
