ESCHER IN MILAN: THE EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO ESCHER WILL ARRIVE IN LOMBARDY

Escher in Milan. Maurits Cornelis Escher is an artist who has been recently rediscovered in Italy.
In the last few years this artist has been the protagonist of very successful exhibitions in Rome, then in Bologna and eventually in Treviso. I visited the exhibition in Treviso and I published the photos in the post with my review.

Now Escher will arrive in Milan with an exhibition at the Palazzo Reale (the Royal Palace), which will feature several works already admired in the previous exhibitions. But there will be also some novelties.

Lake Iseo Christo. Have you ever imagined the sensation you have while walking on the water? Probably not. But artists are able to imagine impossible things and make them real. And Christo did it.

From June 18^th to July 3^rd 2016 he will create one of his works of art on the Lake Iseo, entitled The Floating Piers.

EXHIBITION BOSCH 2016: VISIONS OF AN ARTIST ON SHOW

Hieronymus Bosch 2016. This year is dedicated to Hieronymus Bosch.
On the occasion of the 5^th centenary of the death of the visionary artist (he died in 1516), Europe will celebrate him with exhibitions and conferences.

The first exhibition “Hieronymus Bosch. Visions of Genius” took place at the Noordbrabants Museum from February 13^th to May 8^th, and presented the most completed monographic exhibition ever arranged on Bosch’s work.
From May 31^st until September 11^th the Prado Museum in Madrid will house the exhibition “El Bosco: la exposición del centenario”, which will show a group of masterpieces by the artist, including the legendary triptych “The Garden of Earthly Delights”.

Architecture Biennale 2016. This year the Venice Biennale in dedicated to architecture and is directed by the Chilean architect Alejandro Aravena.
I joined in the intense “giornate della Vernice”, and I told you on my social channel my impressions and my feelings, showing the first images.
