VENICE BIENNALE: HOW TO VISIT IT

Every two years Venice becomes the world centre of contemporary art.
This year the Venice Biennale (the 57th International Art Exhibition of Venice) will run from May 13th to November 26th 2017, and the theme chosen by the curator Christine Macel is VIVA ARTE VIVA.

The exhibition doesn’t develop a topic, but it consists of a series of pavilions, which bring artists of different generations and origins together, which follow like chapters of a book.
In this post you’ll find the opening times, all about Venice Biennale tickets and how to visit it.

Peeta (1980) lives and works in Venice.
Studying sculpture and industrial design, the artist has elaborated a tridimensional painting in which the lettering acquires volume.

Fake, myth, dream and illusion.
These could be the key words of Damien Hirst’s great exhibition in Venice.
Two exhibition spaces, Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana, for a great event which has taken 10 years in the making, in which Damien Hirst displays a plausible story, which is, however, totally invented.

The Damien Hirst exhibition in Venice anticipates a few weeks of the events of the Venice Biennale, but this is an independent event destined to remain among the great events of the British artist.
I tell you everything in this post.
